Rachael Corbett

Rachael Corbett graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2005 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Eager to continue learning how to provide optimal care for her patients, she completed her Part A Exam in the spring of 2007 and became a Resident of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy (RCAMT). Since graduation Rachael has worked in private practice at Sport & Spine Physiotherapy in Abbotsford as well as in a transitional care unit where she independently created a program to facilitate a successful return from hospital to home. Rachael has a love of human form and movement as evidenced by her years of performing in gymnastics and dance. She enjoys treating 'core' related injuries and believes that optimum treatment combines education, manual therapy and exercise. She has had a chance to share her expertise through lectures to nurses, postpartum moms, athletes, and university kinesiology students. Rachael is excited about the future of physiotherapy and plans to continue taking courses to better help patients restore structure and function.
