Ange received her certification for teaching Pilates in 2001 at Meridian Pilates with Heather Low. She has taken several Body Movement Workshops which she has integrated into her teaching. In 2004, she moved to LA to study with Marie-Jose Blom-Lawrence at the Long Beach Dance Conditioning Studio where she completed with distinction the Advanced Training program. Ange is happy to be back in the Vancouver area and excited to join the team at Diane Lee & Associates where she will work with the physiotherapists and interested clients to bridge the gap between rehabilitation, movement facilitation and exercise in the community. Her practice embodies our mission – to Empower through Knowledge, Movement and Awareness.
The initial focus of your 1 hour private sessions will be on integrating proper recruitment patterning of the lumbopelvic core muscles into exercises that are specific to YOUR impairments and goals for therapy. Your program will be prescriptive, fully supervised and specific for your needs since Ange and your physiotherapist will collaborate to help you achieve your healthy, fitness goals. Your exercise program will be designed with your future needs in mind and may include the use of mat, reformer, barrel, balance, free weights, theraband, and/or gym ball equipment. When your physiotherapist and Ange feel that you are ready you will be referred to other community services (if desired) for ongoing exercise instruction & training.
