When you book your first appointment with us you will be given the option of either:
- a 1/2 hour first visit which will involve primarily assessment of your problems and a small amount of time for treatment ($75.00), or
- a 1 hour first visit during which more time can be allocated to starting your treatment ($150.00)
Subsequent visits are 1/2 hour in length ($75.00) and no other clients are booked in your scheduled time (no double booking). We only see one client at a time.
Since this time is specifically reserved for you, please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment for registration. You will find that we do our best to run on time and we respect that your time is as valuable as ours. If you arrive late, your time with the therapist will be shortened to avoid delaying those scheduled after you. If you schedule an appointment which you do not attend (no show), you may be charged fully for this visit. This may also apply to same day cancellations with short notice.
Parking: There is paid parking around the back of the building and the rate is $2.50 per hour. There is some free 2 hour parking on 17th Avenue and some metered parking as well.
Things to bring to your first appointment:
- Registration form - please complete the form on this page or print and complete this registration form and bring it to your first appointment
- ICBC clients - bring your Doctor's name and referral, ICBC claim number, adjustor's name as well as your BC carecard. Please note that ICBC does NOT cover the full cost of physiotherapy and a visit fee will be charged. The receptionist will provide you will this information when you book your first appointment.
- RCMP/DVA/MSP exempt status - please speak to the receptionist about specific coverage for these groups.
- All other clients - physiotherapy is not covered by the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia, however your individual extended health plan may cover part/all of your physiotherapy. You are expected to pay for your treatment in full on the day of the treatment; a receipt for the services rendered will be issued at the time of your visit and can be submitted to your extended health plan. We accept cash, cheque, VISA or Mastercard.
What to wear:
Please wear or bring suitable exercise clothing for each visit.
