Guido Wisotzki
In 1997, Guido graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy. He completed his certification in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2003 (CAFCI) and became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy the following year (FCAMT). Guido's interests and professional experience lie in the areas of pre and post-surgical rehabilitation. Working closely with many local surgeons and surgeons in the greater Vancouver area, Guido utilizes their specific treatment protocols and develops a comprehensive physiotherapy program that is designed to bring you to a full recovery. As with most techniques in modern medicine, the envelope is constantly expanding and Guido is a keen participant in continuing education in orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation. He addresses the interplay of multiple systems (articular, myofascial, and neural) and how they impact the strategies chosen for function and performance. Your one-to-one physiotherapy program will include range of motion, strength training, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, gait training, balance training, postural/body awareness training and return-to-activities/hobbies training. Guido primarily uses manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation to help you achieve your goals; however, he also uses anatomical acupuncture and dry needling (IMS) to aid in successfully treating many orthopeadic dysfunctions.

- Knee: Total knee replacement, unicondylar knee replacement, ACL or PCL repair, meniscus repair, fracture repair, patellar dislocations
- Ankle: Ankle arthroplasty, ankle fusion, achilles repair, ligament reconstruction
- Shoulder: Rotator cuff repair, subacromial decompression, acromioplasty, fracture repair
- Elbow: Fracture repair, dislocations, tendon repair
- Wrist: Fracture repair, carpal tunnel release
