Dan Sivertson
Dan completed his Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics (exercise science) at the University of British Columbia in 1997 and immediately (1998) moved to Perth, Australia for his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. He received the Vice Chancellor's Award and the Australian Physiotherapy Association Award for his academic success. Following graduation he worked at Mount Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Services (formerly Brian Edwards and Associates), working in the orthopaedic and intensive care units. Later, he moved into their private practice and became proficient at the Edwards system of Combined Movements for the assessment and treatment of spinal pain.
In 2004, Dan completed the Master of Manual Therapy degree from the Department of Medicine and Pathology at the University of Western Australia. Now back in Canada, Dan continues to develop his expertise with both the competitive and recreational athlete in the areas of lower limb injury, lumbopelvic and groin pain/strains, neck and shoulder pain/strains, headache as well as sports injuries including post surgical rehabilitation. He is an avid skier and a triathlete.
