Search for a physiotherapist trained in The Integrated Systems Model (ISM) approach in your city.
Calvin graduated with his Master of Physical Therapy in 2010, prior to this he graduated with his Bachelors of Kinesiology from McMaster University. During his time at McMaster Calvin worked with various varsity teams including tennis, squash, badminton and volleyball providing field-side coverage for practices, games and tournaments. Calvin has also volunteered at various sporting events in his community including the Skate Canada Eastern and Western Challenge in Ontario and the BC summer games in Surrey BC.
Calvin decided to cultivate his skills in orthopaedic practice and has had the pleasure of working along side many skilled physiotherapists in Ontario and BC. His ongoing desire to improve his skills has led him to pursue training in spine and joint manual therapy, shoulder rehabilitation, Active Release Techniques, acupuncture, exercise and movement retraining. Most recently, Calvin has completed the series of courses in The Integrated Systems Model and this holistic approach has allowed Calvin to help everyone from competitive and recreational athletes to those with motor-vehicle accident and occupational/workplace injuries. He is particularly interested in applying the ISM approach to temporomandibular pain and dysfunction
Outside of the clinic Calvin enjoys the great outdoors of BC. In the summer he can be found trail running, cycling, dragon boating, climbing, playing volleyball and camping, or snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
